The guys at Betanews managed to get a hold of the v14.61 Detonator drivers from NVidia.. These are not the Detonator4 build drivers that do well for GeForce3 owners though, those are 20.x or something. Check out the Win9x , Win2K , and WinNT builds. Thanks RainOfXero

I got the exact same timedemo score of 81.6 with these 14.61's as I did with the 14.40's.

This TA demo is what I used to test with.

I've been running the 14.61's all day and haven't noticed anything different then with the 14.40's.

Must have just been minor code adjustments or D3D changes/tweaks?

I don't care about drivers anymore, i found some that worked fine on my geforce2mx with games and stuck, i think i'm at like 6.22 or something.

every time i try to upgrade it fucks up my 2 monitor stuff and i have to roll back

I almost wonder if they're holding beck the Det 4's till next week so they can claim they had last minute bugs to work out. Then tomshardware looks dumb for accusing them of being ready for weeks...

Hmmm..you know what's funky is my system was having random freezes in win2k...
I install xp rc1 and I've had only one freeze..HOWEVER it gave me the error the video driver was to blame....so all this time maybe all I had to do was grab different drivers...

Oh yeah...this comment comes from reading the reviews on the win2k drivers.
