Gimme Shelter

Hello there! As noted in a story earlier today at Blue's News and this morning's First Post!, I am indeed the new guy around here. My reasons for making this switch have already been mentioned elsewhere, but I do want to make it perfectly clear that I am not leaving Blue's News under bad circumstances, and I remain the best of friends with Frans, Blue and the rest of the Blue's News crew. In keeping with this site's naming convention, my posts will not be signed as "loonyboi" but rather my formal name, although the lack of capital letters should make it fairly obvious who I am. I have actually done a couple of other posts here already, ghostwriting as Steve Gibson (so yes, you can blame me for the use of the word "whopping") while I waited for the formal announcement(s) to be made. Regardless, while it will probably take me a little time to get used to things around here, hopefully it'll be an easy enough transition.
