Quake3 Update
by Maarten Goldstein, Jul 30, 2001 3:22pm PDTid's Robert Duffy updated his .plan file, with a status on the Quake 3 point release. They made a few changes since the 1.29G release of a few days ago. Here's what they are
-Re-linked to a later version of DirectX. -Set Directx up to use sound compatible with Directx 3 -Made one small tweak to the input code which allows in_mouse to function correctly when set to -1 ( old sensitivity ) this should make both input camps happy. -Fixed a potential server crash.They are currently testing the new patch for a release in the early morning hopefully.

Yay... Sometimes incessant whining will get you what you want. Proof that id does listen to what we (the "community") say and carefully considers it.
Duffy rules.. Its nice to have an actual coder that pays attention to us now. Hook hated us (or maybe he just liked to sound smarter than us) and cash seemed to ignore us. Graeme seemed to have his hands full, but did an admirable job while these kinds of things were his responsibility.
