That's great, I thought the game was still months off. Well, i guess the full thing won't be on the shelves for months yet, but a new FPS to play till wolf and MoH and C&C Renegade and all that comes out is welcome news for me.

Great News! My only experience playing a Monolith game was NOLF, so my hopes are pretty damn high. I must say, this whole 3 campaign thingy has me worried, I think I could do without playing as the Alien, and perhaps even the Predator. Oh well, bring on the demo!

I played the original at a LAN party last weekend. It took some coaxing to get some of my friends to play it ("Dude, isn't this game like 3 years old??") but when I finally did we ended up having a blast. The game is so fun, and the balance is just perfect. Well, almost. In some DM games the Predator is usually a little overpowered over the marines and Aliens (in fact, on some levels the marines kinda get shafted 'cause there's no weapons for the non-specialists), so usually we agree on not having any more than 1 or 2 preds in a game.
