#42. I\'d like to clear up this rather common misconception.
Five, ten years ago, Macs were definitely better (I was stuck with DPaint 2 on a 486) for some graphics work, if not most. Now, however, there is no question that -- for someone familiar with the platform -- PCs are the better choice.
They\'re faster (even at graphic apps), a properly set up one doesn\'t crash any more than a Mac (plus you don\'t have to wonder \"what the hell is Memory Error #128???), and there are very few titles either not ported to the PC, or that don\'t have PC versions developed at the same time (But when will you see 3DS for the Mac???).
For someone that has used a Mac for years for graphics work, but isn\'t really a computer person, I\'d reccommend that they stick with the Mac, but for a new user or a professional with PC experience, PC\'s are the better choice.

What is wrong with you people, do you really believe NT4 server or (Windows 2000 server) is the best server software. OSX server is as good as NT4 server ( better in alot of ways ). As far as the army\'s web site who gives a shit what box thats on. Do you believe the DoD is switching from Cray\'s running unix to some baby OS like Win/tel or Mac OSX, WAKE THE FUCK UP,PEA BRAINS.
