Columbine Lawsuit Update
by Steve Gibson, Jul 19, 2001 4:05pm PDTAs you would expect, video game makers have asked that the Columbine lawsuit be dropped in court recently. They are taking the free speech route. SquareSoft has been dropped from the list of defendants btw. Thanks VE

As soon as you see blood, should you consider that games violent? What about green blood? Or should you say the games get too violent based on the number of gibs? Seeing anything related to sex should be consider violent? I didn't know that a kiss was something that can be violent... Does anyone know what they consider violent? Violent is such a pejorative(or something spelled like that) word anyhow.

maybe it's because they're fucking idiots and now just realized square doesn't make violent games (none that I know of, at least, correct me if I'm wrong. I heard that their driving game was violently horrible, though.)
