Feels all warm and squishy inside to finally be posting from a desk again instead of hunched over some rolling/folding table like I have been for the past few weeks. I wont even say how many hours it took to assemble this thing or how many "spare" parts I ended up with though. I've been working on a extra surprise bonus for people who donated a while back which put a slight delay on their shirts. I'm about 90% sure I can make it happen but should know for sure this week. If I cant squeeze it in there though we'll just move ahead with sending out just the shirts. Maarten should have a form hacked up in a day or two for everyone to start filling out where you want things shipped. Movie: Jack! I'm only an elected official here. I can't make decisions on my own!

I have an inventory of random garbage that I picked up at my high school:

Unfortunately, the people moving the equipment to be thrown out were "less than gentle", so much of what I wanted was crushed/destroyed/broken.

Here's a list of stupid stuff that I found:

- One NEC 17 inch monitor (forget the exact make, but it works just fine)
- 4 Shiva LanRover/8E's (they seem to work)
- 3 Surge protector things
- 1 Old motherboard
- Various older processors (2 - 486 DX4 100/1 - Cyrix 686 200?/1 - AMD 586 133)
- Some IBM mount for a monitor with speakers
- Microphones, random junk that I'll prolly just throw away
- 5 Monitor only switches (So you can use one monitor to view 2-4 computers)

I'm pretty angry that the kids just threw the shit on the concrete, but who can really blame them?..

I should be getting more stuff... Some kid walked away with a 21 port HUB...

Hopefully I may get some full systems sometime this week...

i just crashed my system...this morning it rebooted when playing a video so i wanted to test it..i was running 4 videos at the same time and then i was moving one of the windows when the sound started looping and i had to reset the system...any ideas?...cpu temp is at 118 right now...i took out the 256mb ram chip and put in a 128 so it's not the new ram...maybe video card drivers...i am running the 4.12 for my gforce 2 mx but it has different options thatn the drivers i had before and i have no twin view so i don't know why it shows that option to enable a second monitor...
