Got another PR about the new id Software games that are going to be announced at this year's QuakeCon (see original story) . Here's the deal:

Steve and I will both be attending QuakeCon (August 9-12) and will report on whatever is announced.

Big F'n deal... That means nothing to us if the coverage will be like the E3 coverage. What amounted to a lame "we seen cool stuff" report.

I think I can speak for everyone here, might be nice to see some video footage or pics of the "games" (if possible). Not a bunch pics of dorks in a clear hat.

maybe not video. but why hasnt anyone recorded the SOUND of carmacks speech? release an mp3? its voice so you could use a really low bitrate, that would be a really small file. maybe you can bring an audio recorder maarten? or someone?
