I guess all engines have thier flaws:

1) Quake III - Only really renderes black really well.
2) Operation Flashpoint - King of graphic graininess.
3) Global Ops - Lord of the Square

Bland shots = no interest. Judging from this and the latest AvP stuff, I can't see why anyone is licensing the LithTech engine.

Operation Flashpoint: now there's a huge outdoor combat sim that actually looks decent and breaks some ground.

Goddamn, why are the weapon models so low-poly? I thought this was supposed to be better than CS, but as far as I can see, the HL engine pushes more polys than this POS.
