you guys have to give mandrake 8 a shot.
this is just so cool.

kde has a built in pdf/ps viewer, konquerer is so cool.

and like in kmail, if someone gives you a url to an image, and you click on it.
this little image thingi comes up, and it displays the file.
but what's so cool about it is, that you can resize the image, and it will apply good filtering, and there's like no slow down at all..

looks very good.

fonts look very nice as well (better then w2k), but if you install nvidia hardware accelrated drivers, your going to have to delete a line in your XF86Config-4 file..
if you run into the problem just tell me..

Today I discovered the true joy of riding the metro train when it's crowded

I hop on before the door close, and there's no room to sit

So I'm standing, and sitting directly infront of me, it's this hot MILF, maybe 35-38, with this low cut blouse on and no bra

She's sitting, I'm standing, and I'm getting a nice good view

It gets better

We hit a stop, and more passengers get on. This hot ass lithe 5'7 asian chick grabs the pole in front of me. Well more people get on and we end up getting pressed together. I've read through some of this gun thread, and came to the conclusion that most of you are twits. The second amendment is not in the American constitution for hunting, or home protection, or target shooting. It's there for one reason: in the event of our gov't becoming too powerful and controlling, the citizens of this country could remove them by force if needed, and protect themselves from the gov't when necessary. Our founding fathers knew of the flaws of the government they implemented, and put in that safeguard, along with the other original amendments, because they knew what could happen. And it essentially has. Cameras on street corners, monitoring your actions. Rights being slowly taken away. A contitution that has practically been danced upon by the very people we put in office. An army that has repeatdly been turned against it's own citizens (that includes all branches of federal, state, and local law enforcment).

And yet, the sheep continue to follow.

I used to think that with some simple downsizing of the government, it could be turned around. Change a few rules (eliminate all forms of lobbying and private political contributions would be a great start) and things might be OK. I don't think so anymore. I fully believe that we will see armed revolution in this country within the next 20 years, and I don't think it would be such a bad thing.

Please understand this: I love my country, and it sickens me to see what our gov't has done to it. We are one of the most hated countries in the world, and with good reason. Our governments arrogance and elitist attitude have ensured our role of the Evil Empire. I just want my country back from the men who are destrying it.

Speaking of governments,I've been listening to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy last night at work. It mentioned the galaxy being run by a president whose main job was to draw attention from the folks who were really running things,and Xaphod Beeblebrox,being a self absorbed buffoon,was Very Good at this.
