Intel Unveils Faster P4s
by Maarten Goldstein, Jul 02, 2001 10:34am PDTIntel is keeping the pressure on AMD, and has released two new Pentium 4 processors. They run at 1.6 ($294) and 1.8Ghz ($562). Intel also says a 2Ghz P4 will come later this quarter.

How sad. The 1.4GHz Athlon "Thunderbird" is nearly as fast as the 1.8GHz Pentium 4. Okay what's wrong with Intel's engineers??

Like I give a shit Intel figured out a way to wring 200 MHz out of their crappy architecture. :)
