Crazy Taxi: The Movie
by Steve Gibson, Jul 02, 2001 6:31am PDTAccording to a report in the Hollywood Reporter, the latest game to be making its way to the big screen is Crazy Taxi. They will just be calling it "Taxi" though for the movies. Thanks Eurogamer
Producer-director Richard Donner will be in the driver's seat of "Crazy Taxi," a feature version of Sega's best-selling video game. Goodman/Rosen Prods. optioned the movie rights from Sega and brought it to the Donners Co. Donner will direct and executive produce the action film, which is being developed for a future summer release.

The game doesn't exactly have a deeply engrossing storyline or anything :\

See the breathtaking battle between Skinny-Rectangle #1 and Skinny-Rectangle #2 as they hurl a glowing white square at each other with mighty forces. This film has not yet been rated, and will not be shown in the USA due to scenes of extreme pixel-violence.

At the local ubermegacade there is this retarded kid who destroys that game. Plays for hours on a single credit flipping that lever up and down like he is doing it a favor.

I'm sick of reality tv and terrible films. Let's get on with the writing again fellas, or I'll have to release my super blockbuster "The Mystery of The Shack". I'll bet the MPAA will give it an NC-17 rating though. :)
