But seriously though, as much as I wouldn't use Q3A to wipe my arse, I must admit that both games have their fair share of great and innovative user maps, solid and decent user maps, boring clonish user maps, and hideous newbie box maps.*
* any similarity to my post in the UT level design thread is entirely....ah...ummm..
Put ten room on each floor, tons of curved surfaces in each room, and plenty of fog. Make sure there are no balanced sniping points, and ensure weapons placements if fucked up
And have the lighting so that blind men would complain that it's too bright or flashy
Then you'll have a map on par with 99.99% of the Q3 maps out there.
