The official Serious Sam demo from CroTeam has been released over at GamesDomain. The levels that are in this demo are the same ones from the beta demos that were released earlier but this is the v1.0 codebase. Thanks BSoDZ

just buy the game heh, its only 20 dollars, and pretty fun, with the biggest levels ever in a fps (i think?)...but its alot of empty space too, but filled with thousands of monsters ;)

I keep wondering what's the big deal with Serious Sam. In a time where everybody is clamoring about more plot and complexity (Deus Ex, Elite Force, etc.), I don't understand why a mindless shooter is getting so much attention. There's plenty of mindless shooters out there, why does Serious Sam earn distinction above those? I honestly played Serious Sam for about half an hour before putting it on the shelf and never touching it again; what's the fun of shooting literally walls of the same enemies until your brain goes numb?

But still, credit has to be given where due, and that team over in Croatia(?) did an impressive job technically (Serious engine, editor, and such) with their limited resources.

Just downloaded it and "played" through the tech demo map. All I can say is wow, those effects are awsome. Are they licensing the engine to other companies?

I just bought serious sam last weekend...what a fricking bloodbath..my wrists got tired from some of the prolonged shootouts..damn that serious engine throws the enemies out by the truckload..
