Sounds like he's discovered the SBLive's notorious hiss problem. He should get a Game Theater XP; much better S/N ratio.

Also, does anyone mind mirroring those sound files? A GamespyID isn't required (they give the path instead of the file ID, so it's bypassed), but you still have to wait in line.
