The anti-trust trial hasn't even ended yet but two of the state attorneys general are already looking at a possible 2nd case against Microsoft. They're concerned about Windows XP and the new Internet .NET strategy which is on it's way too. The attorney generals feels Microsoft might be doing the same type of program binding (such as an integrated IM client) that Judge Jackson deemed illegal in the anti-trust case.

  • LOL its funny watching you nerds bicker about bundled FREE software. If Mac comes bundled with Quicktime, whats the prob with Windows Media Player for PC? If Linux comes with Netscape, then whats the big bitch about Microsoft having Internet Explorer?

Most of you need to get past the "open source" nerdom and think reality. If a company doesnt include stuff with their brand name on it, then whats the point? So what if Microsoft has an instant messaging and media player? Competing OSes do the same fucking thing!

grr.. if Linux was so "special" then why don't all of these big companies with Win2k as their employees desktop OS ditch it? They don't because they like something that you know is going to be stable, strong, and most of all, compatiable.
