since i install that stupid 1.08 patch..i cant use my characters on the 1.07 patch already?
can anyone help me or adcie me wat to do?
I'm glad I found a dual leech ring the night before to at least suppliment the horrible leech penalty. Dual leech rings now will never be generated again, bliz called them "too powerful"
My barb is going to need some serious re-working if he's going to survive in Hell at this point.

"Sets and uniques can no longer be gambled for" !! Ack. I knew this was how it would be in the x-pack, but I thought I'd have a few move weeks to stock up on good stuff. Anybody got a Sigon's? :/
"Players can no longer steal Life/Mana from certain monster types." uh-oh. Anybody know which monsters they are talking about? If this affects a big percentage of monsters, this will have a very negative effect on some character types. (WW barbs and bowazons especially.)
"Crushing blow is at 1/2 effectiveness on bows. " Wow. Won't this will increase average bowazon damage by ALOT?? I'm pretty sure crushing-blow didnt work with bows at all in 1.06.
"Changed Charsi's imbue quest to always give a plus to individual skills on items that can have them. " Niiiice.
"Added a new 'Repair All' button for equipped items at the armorers in each Act" Sweet.
I like the changes done to skills. Blizzard basically took weak skills nobody really uses, and makes them more effective. Maybe this will lead to a greater variation of characters now.

The 50% physical res is apparently a "screw up" in some way, as well as "TC"'s (No idea what those are... maybe casting timers? ).
some stuff is really nice (shift clicking on potions in the vendors fills your belt now. Very handy). The challenge is pretty nice, but I'm sure it destroys a lot of character builds. I have a lvl 81 lance barb, but the focus is on berserk (20 pts), and only 10 in whirlwind. I actually didn't have too much trouble killing stuff in the first part of hell (plains of despair or whatever), but I decided to go see if the bosses were giving up better drops.
Man, mephisto was a PAIN to kill. I couldn't even kill some of the council members, because they would heal themselves back to full life. This was in single player as well. A lot of these hell mode changes seem to neglect single player, as its a hell of a lot harder now. The very harsh leech penalty and 50% physical resist on monsters in Hell difficulty is VERY noticable. You'll have to change your tactics as soon as you start playing basically. At least with a barb. Probably going to test my necro and sorc later tonight.

And the timer isn't very long
meteor, glacial, static static, run, repeat
timer crap without all the perks of the expac..forcing people to buy the shit now or quit with useless charechters=/
there are like 3000 people playing now..and the whole pvp community is pissed...no matter what char build you have you can't kill shit now period... THIS IS OBVIOUSLY SOME BULLSHIT!

Big changes. Looks like they are working up to the expansion. Sets and uniques can't be gambled for and they messed around with resistances big time.
