So... very interesting business model Dynamix is following these days. Release a game that is beta at best, release patches that force users away from the servers because of UEs and other nasty errors and then finally release a patch that is for "i{expert} users only" (italics mine).

I, for one, haven't played Tribes2 since the patch after the rescinded patch. I think there's another patch since that and now a new patch that isn't supported by the creators.

Dynamix, go fuck yourself.

One of the reasons they are releasing this beta is so that the league tribes can test it in tournament mode. The ladder matches have been screwed since the last patch, and the community has been asking to have more input into the QA process. I think this is a good thing. Dynamix has screwed up alot and T2 was buggy as hell when released (and still is to some degree) but at least they are TRYING to work it out. Does anyone around here remember Ultima 9? It was basically unplayable, and after a while EA/Origin closed the forums for the game and dropped all support. That would be the worst case scenario.

I wish people would stop bashing the game and company only because they are patching the game. Would you rather have a game that's released with no company support at all? I know we all wish one day that a game will be right when they release it but the fact is, no one is perfect. So be happy their doing something. (Even though sometimes it's bad)

That's funny, because their official patches aren't supported either.

Man, I'm close to taking this game back. I love the gameplay, but they fuck it up more with every patch. I'm wondering when they will decide that newbies don't like to get sniped, so we're removing the laser rifle.

People bought the game. Any fixes in this patch should have been on the cd. Beta patch...
