Hah, this is one big embarassment for Epic; they're still working with the mesh stuff in UW and UC. I bet Tim Sweeney will bust in at some point and start prattling on about Unreal 2's parametric reverse-kinematics skeletal motion-capture interpolated model system.

is it just me or is ut's net coding sloppy? .. I installed the game a week ago and the net play is sorta sluggish, ( lol ya, it was collecting dust for quite a while . I was into q3 more than ut )
