heh, I got it downloaded, but it crashes out on the first single player level every time, right when I get to the telegraph office, the old dude says "you have a telegram" or some such nonsense, and then when I pick it up it makes the pick-up sound and crashes to desktop.

anyone have similar probs?

No matter what the age in which a HL mod takes place, the weapon selection/activation sounds are pretty much the same.

I'd be curious to know if the interface sounds (C:\Sierra\...\...\sound\buttons) or the interface sounds (C:\Sierra\...\...\sound\common) are stock HL.

Those are easy fixes, but many mods just go with what Valve made. No matter what the game looks like, it sounds like HL.

+I HAVEN'T PLAYED IT YET.
+IT SUCKS (waste of time! where is tf2?)
+OMG, THE NETWORKING DOESN'T HAVE THE FEEL OF QUAKE 1! (need more air control, bitches!)
+VALVE = MILK MILK MILK (make tf2 already!)
+THIS IS SUCH AN OUTDATED ENGINE WHY DIDN'T THEY USE QUAKE 3 (shaders = k-rad!!!)
