by Maarten Goldstein, Jun 05, 2001 9:55am PDTGamers.com is reporting that the Dreamcast map pack for Quake3 is still coming to the PC. The news story quotes id's Todd Hollenshead who says the whole process of bringing these maps to the PC took longer than expected. The release date is "real soon now".

I've been playing the DC quake 3 maps on my PC for...ooooh, maybe 3 or 4 months now...a few of them have problems with ambient sound (maybe 15% or the total 'DC only' maps) but the rest work flawlessly. Not sure who to credit on the brilliant rip, but it was a fine job indeed ;)
