AMD is getting ready to announce their spanking new 1.4GHz chip at the upcoming trade show in Computex happening in Taiwan. More than likely the chip will be slightly faster than current chips and go for a slightly higher price. It's a new CPU.

Must be why the price of 1.33Ghz Athlon "III"s have dropped to $199 at tc computers.
