sometimes i wonder why i buy quality computer parts, but continue to skimp on other things
samsung tv - remote didnt come with it (ex demo) and no "universal" remote works on it
teac hifi 6 head vcr, think i got a nice price etc, was good for the 1'st year, then i rent and older movie which needs the video to be "tracked manually" - but nope - auto tracking only (FUCK) and this was my 1'st stereo vcr, thought i was clever - WRONG
akai video - (mono) - twists tapes every time now - sitting in the cupboard
akai stereo - sure a basic cheapie model - but not that cheap... - cranked the audio on it like a normal user would - 7 hours of music - not that loud - it was loud dont get me wrong but the stereo can normally go louder, and i really wasnt pushing it - one of the speakers are "buzzing" now
jvc in dash cd player - the buttons died quick
(although i must admit, besides the weak buttons on it, it's an excellent unit and alot cheaper than the sony)
- shouldve RESEARCHED instead of impulse purchased the cd player for the car - pioneer ones play CDRW apparently! :( fuck

This time, problems in Windows 98, though far less severe than the Win2K problems. Also, if you uninstall it, you lose functionality of all the devices on the same bus as the recorder. The only way to fix that is to either reinstall Easy CD Creator, or reinstall Win98.

Dear All,
There is no bug in the KT133A chipset. The German site that started all of this says in their article that they made certain changes to the northbridge registry settings. This is what has caused the problem. I cannot believe that one unsubstantiated article and people in this forum just take it as "fact". Who is actually having this "problem" they mention? I handle almost 100 technical support emails per day and have NEVER had an email with this issue.

Yesterday on Monday, May 28th at aproximatley 9:45am on a calm Memorial Day morning, a certain webmaster of SHACKNEWS (www.shacknews.com) posted his own opinions about certain movies he's seen in the past few days. This devastating news post sent shockwaves throughout not only the shacknews community but also through the entire internet its self.
"I cant believe his opinions, I bet he's getting royalties from Warner Brothers pictures to do this" spoke out a random anon reader at a riot in Seattle. This random anon reader was holding a picket sign that stated "WEBMASTERS DONT HAVE F**KING OPINIONS!" as he violently threw stones at riot police amidst the tear gas and screams.
This new fad, of webmasters having opinions may tear apart the very fibers of being a webmaster on the internet. News stories have already sprouted across the nation, CNN, MSNBC, and even The Register have written up countless articles and had many crossfire debates and interviews with the experts. The fad has already sprouted up t-shirts, mousepads, bumper stickers and even a short 2 minute 37 second movie that you can download. If you thought ALL YOUR BASE was bad, just wait.
We will have more on this and possibly an EXCLUSIVE interview with <name withheld>, the very webmaster at shacknews who started this whole trend.
