5The Red Faction site has been updated again. There's another screenshot and weapon of the week, along with a new mp3 download. Red Faction is the upcoming FPS by Volition. The PS2 version recently went gold and out to stores, the PC version should ship in a couple of months.

There isnt really any scripted stuff ala HL. Not even close. Not to be too picky but the models look weak. Voice acting is weak. Music is good but once the track is finished playing it will never play again unless your loading a new level. On the positive side, the weapons have a good punch to em, using the sub and other vehicles is fun.
Geomod is very very cool. Like GB said, its not used to its full extend i think.
And the most thing that bugs me (as a hardcore pc gamer) is the tv res. It just kills every detail.
Overall i was expecting a lot more to the single player part. Too bad.
If they put geomodding in the pc version for MP then it should be great.
Out of 10 i would give it a 5/10.
