Where were you?

- Oooooh, product placement even after they make the show now. Yay for computers. - You never know when you're gonna end up trying to mug a Karate Grand Champion of India on accident. - A 15yr old kid is filing a lawsuit against his school for negligence because he got shot a little while ago on campus. - Something tells me these students may be filing a lawsuit in the near future too. - Finally proof that there are Klingons among us. - Warning, you will be offended by this quite a bit. Thanks (I think) Chris. - The whole 'ethics' thing going along with DNA and using genes all over the place is getting strange.
Lastly, a study of what pings are tolerable. Thanks Mitchy

  • I had a strange dream last night. In the dream, I was on my grandmother's back porch, waiting for them to start the grill (therefore, it was apparently Memorial Day). My father was with me on the porch, reading Time magazine (this is where it starts to get weird; we don't subscribe to Time, nor do we read it). Suddenly, I saw a half-page ad with a black silhouette of the DOOM guy on an orange background. On the orange part, it said, "100% FREE Online Multiplayer from the creators of Doom and Quake." At that point, my father gets a bit angry and says, "What are you looking at?! Get your own!" and throws a newspaper in my lap, which lands open on the comics. The comics are as insipid as a dull stretch of Penny Arcade, so I look into the house. I see my older cousin (he's 30) talking about computer games (even stranger, because he NEVER plays computer games anymore). I hear "EA" in the discussion, so I bust in and say, "EA has to be one of the worst game publishers out there." I start bringing up the Baldur's Gate series...

And that's when I woke up, and realized that Interplay published BG, and that I should've brought up EA's lackluster sports line, and how they singlehandedly neutered Rogue.
