It's like matching the first 5 numbers on match 6 lotto on your wedding day waiting for the pregnancy test results. Except in this case instead of losing out on the lotto and getting hitched to some woman you hardly know because you knocked her up in a drunken stupor you get to read about other peoples misfortunes and wacky stuff. It's great!
- Mingle with spies. They steal government secrets and now they just rob you blind for paying to be on a boat with them! - Spam bills are still having trouble getting through our legal system. Doh. - Here's a quick tip.. if you're going to rob a bank make sure and get rid of the evidence... not send it ot the Laundromat. - I would have kept the cello for at least a week. Would have made the guy more thankful. - Everyone congratulate Pizza Hut on their latest promotional stunt taking advantage of the Russian space dudes needing cash. - The Attrition.org guys are calling it quits on mirroring hacked websites.Lastly, here's an interesting question for the evening. Are computers and technology making kids more or less intelligent? (Thanks Stomped) I'd say neither. Computers are refocusing kids.

Either way, a Thunderbird board is starting to look like a good way to go. Which board is the one with the integrated Promise ATA66 controller? I think it's one of the Abit KT7 series models; I won't be using RAID, but if I could configure that RAID controller as two separate channels, I'd be okay with that. Also, I'd need new RAM; I've heard stories about 256 megs for under $50, but Crucial still lists it at $89. Also, I'd need a CPU and a good heatsink (probably a Thermaltake copper model). How much would this stuff cost (board, RAM, chip, and heatsink), and is there a reputable place that sells all of that?

Colleen - What's the "box of Trial"?
Lowtax - Learning enviroment! We teach Myiama when she does bad, we place in her Box of Trial and have small radio we talk through, say "You have done it very badly Myiama, we are very much displease with you actions!" It like "time out" or standing in corner, we teach disipline!
Colleen - I understand what you'r trying to teach but I'm not sure if that's the most effective way to teach that. : (
Lowtax - No, it work! We put Myiama in box, me and wife get outside box and shove it around, shaking it! We turns lights off and on and make ghost sounds to scare, then throw things inside box, we shout "NO MYIAMA! YOU MAKE WRONG DECISION! YOU SEE BAD OUTCOME NOW! LEARN YOU LESSON!"

I really liked the way distance works in B&W. You can zoom miles out at zero performance hit.. things become blurry then dissapear, and there are clouds way up high too.. it occured to me that B&W would rock for a flight sim/fps combo (i've got one in mind but no engine I know of will work.. plus, I probably couldn't make it happen anyway)

anyway, steve says in the article I should
. It's horribly dark and hard to see anything, but if you go into your display settings and 'adjust overlay' brightness you can see things fairly clear.
I'm fairly computer literate... I just can't find the adjust overlay in either my display properties or the wmp7 options...
does anyone know where exactly that option is?
