I ran circles on the net trying to dig up some worthy news, but there's very little real news out there. (Probably because it's way too early) I saw "Space Cowboys" on DVD yesterday. It's a pretty good movie, and its a real joy watching those great actors together. Movie 1: You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity. Movie 2: There's no WAY we're gonna find a helicopter in this desert! (I can't believe that brilliant movie got a 4.4 on IMDB!) (That's two quotes just because it's weekend!) Anyway, busy day for me - I'm going to try and write some image recognition code (C++) that determines the size of gifs and jpegs, so that we can safely let you guys upload pictures on the forums. Then I'm going to test the title system so we can have titles (newbie, member, godlike, etc) and then I'm going to have to make a decision about what style of forums we're gonna have around here - Something similar to the current style or something more like the classic UBB style (or something in between). The big difference is that the current style is threaded and always has the parent article quoted in the replies, whereas UBB doesn't have that and is more like the comments system. i recently uninstalled easy cd creator because it sucked, and now both my drives are gone. I messed around with my registry and fixed the problem, but now i can't find the right drivers for my cd drive. The drivers on the win2k cd worked but i can't use the cd because both drives are not working. Can anyone offer any suggestions/solutions to my problem?

damn, those nikebasketball.com "freestyle" commercials are great. this is the biggest one 6.4MB. awesome moves, though.
I follow'd there guidelines exactly...I did not link directly to the pictures
so they could have there stupid ad banners seen... there was nothing bad post'd,
just pictures of a goddam kitten! They have a stick up there ass about the 'Shack
and it is just ridiculous. It only was 600k big! How much bandwidth was that sucking?

I'm running under Win2k, performance is good, but I can't get the refresh rate to go above 60hz at any resolution. I've tried several utilities, but none of them work.

for the millionth time, the name change was simply for a domain that can be spread via word of mouth and was not intended as any indication of change in focus. if i could have gotten shack.com i would have (it was my first choice). get over the whole "i know the real reason why he changed the domain" conspiracy stuff already.
