OK, so here it goes.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!

I going home for the summer this year as I am sick to death of classes, work, and most of all Fort Fucking Wayne! I will be in the north west suburbs of Chicago, for approximately 4 months, with very limited Internet access. I hope to get on the sHack at least one or two times a week, but I donÂ’t know if it will happen as often as I would like. If I can find decent dial-up service it maybe more (and if I can get a cheap ass special on DSL, well I think we will all know what might happen).

So then, this is my semi-official last post. I have had a great time at the shack, and wish it could continue as frequently as I have been. My shack history began back when I was a really heavy Quaker, and sTeve provided quake news, as well as news on mods, and other FPS’s. I didn’t visit that often till I saw that little link on the right side, that said ‘Suckage’. I was instantly hooked on the shack and would visit often just to see what was updated. Steve I know you don’t want to do suckage and wise words and all that stuff again, but it was freakin hilarious! In the middle of my senior year in college, when the comments and the site redesign was instituted, I didn’t think too much of them. However, I started reading them, and was hooked. I ended up lurking for quite some time, I first posted anon during The Summer of Shack, and was helped very quickly (I believe Poke, and Hawkeye were the ones to help me with a D2 question.) I then said fuck it, I might as well register, and did on Jul 10th 2000, 11:24:53 am. Since then I have posted my heart out, been a chatty bitch, flamed, been flamed, trolled, and been trolled.

Well, now here it is. Not a complete good bye, but a good bye nonetheless. >:( I’d like to think that I have made quite a few friends here. We’ve laughed, and cried. Said way to many catch phrases All Your Base, Donkley (can’t say that too much though), ATI TV-Wonder, Punch Him the Face!, I MUST BREAK YOU!!, penif in mouf, SMASH!! etc. There have been flame wars over all sorts of silly things, and I have enjoyed them all. A most hearty thanks to Steve, Maaaaaaaaaaarten, Clay, Sander, and Jack. You have created a phenomenon here that should never die. I you were left out I’m sorry, its late and I hate been packing/moving since 9 am. Do not make any judgments based on where you were listed, it was as random as I could get.

My last words are that you listen to Dido – Thank You (no bitching about it, just listen to the message), as I want to thank all that have been around, not that this has been the best times but good times. I hope that I have not shacktagged, as MS Word was fucking with them.
