Q3 Update Q&A

I kinda agree with #3... I only have a celeron 550 to go with my GeForce2, so once I get a new CPU this summer (1.33 gig or so) that'll probably be it till DOOM. Just gotta be able to play some current stuff and wait for it.

Every time I play Q3 and it looks and feels so good, it makes DOOM that much more enticing.

Looking forward to it. Last night I played some q2 for awhile, I was pleasantly surprised to see that my rail is still really good.. god I love the q2 railgun. I noticed something though, cheap tactics like camping spawns is common in q2. I had completely forgotten about the cheapness because you don't see many cheap players in q3, I guess because it just isn't very effective.

On another strange note, I haven't played q2 in over year except for a few minutes at a lan party or two for old times sake, but I get on there and jump in a FFA game and there is this guy there that I used to see every time I played q2 ffa named Vince_Prince. I don't know the guy, hes not a bad player, and he never says jack shit. I just find it astonishing that he is still playing Q2 FFA all the damned time after 4 years. I mean, wtf?

I wonder how many people latch onto a game like that and just never stop.

Forget about Q3.
The only thing i want is DooM III. The whole rest can suck my ass...
