The media blitzing leading up to E3 should be kicking into high gear around the end of this week. A small taste of it comes from Activision who just sent out a few more screenshots of the Quake3 powered Soldier of Fortune 2 title Raven Software is developing that was announced just last month.. Here's some shots along with the description they included with their E3 lineup announcement

Click to enlarge Click to enlargeThe sequel to one of the top first person action games of 2000, Soldier of Fortune 2 delivers gritty intense action, mind blowing QUAKE III Arena powered graphics and a story rivaling a Hollywood blockbuster. Featuring advanced artificial intelligence and real-world weaponry, enemies and military devices, the game puts players in the role of John Mullins a military consultant working for the top-secret anti-terrorist group known only as The Shop. As Mullins, players must tackle a wide-range of missions from hostage rescue and intelligence gathering to search-and-destroy. Additionally, in order to complete their objectives, players will make use of a variety of gameplay tactics ranging from full frontal assaults to stealth and subterfuge. Soldier of Fortune 2 is being developed for Activision by Raven Software and is expected to hit retail shelves this winter.

  • For some reason i dont like counterstrike. its just not my cup of tea. It quite funny but people used to complain that quake3 was so cheap cuz the weapons were way to strong, but counterstrike has even more powerful weapons but people still play, Maybe because the weapons are so powerful that anyone could have a chance to win, that is why people enjoy it. Im new to counterstrike and i must say I do do exceptionally well. Does that show something, i dont know, but when quake 3 came out ouch i sucked now im decent. Now of to sof 2 I hope they come with the same guts and glory cool shit, but I hope it still has that arcadish feel like before (hope they remove the skateboard walking)
