The Q3F Website has been updated with all sorts of images from this Quake3 Fortress mod. Shots from new weapon models, player skins and some desktop wallpapers. The team has also released the source code to the rain and snow effects.

Heh, check out the rate of fire on that minigun. 600 rounds per min is slooowww. most assualt rifles do that, or more.

I really hope Q3F gets a larger player base with the release of Beta 2. It certainly deserves a larger audience from a technological standpoint. It looks awesome, and plays as close to qwtf as possible in most areas, and does a few select things even better.
