$2,000/month Playing TRIBES2?

ShackES was carrying this story in the morning about another league offering cash prizes which seems to be the norm lately, however I didnt read the fine print. Check this out:

TWL will be awarding a $2000 prize *each* month for the #1 Tribes 2 CTF ladder team. The winning team for a given month must hold the #1 position on the first second, of the first day of the month. The contest begins with the #1 team on May 1st, 2001 on the TWL.

That translates out to $24,000 a year if you can keep your TRIBES2 team the best in the nation. I really wonder just where in the world is TWL going to be recouping that money that they are giving out? They certainly arent gonna make that $ back on ad banners from their website... :)
