TEN Gone, PGL Not.
by Steve Gibson, Sep 01, 1999 2:24pm PDTWell this is 100% wacked out. Apparently TEN has shut their doors and Pogo.com, a more family oriented free gaming system is now up in it's place. How does this concern you guys? Well TEN plays host to PGL. Just last week the PGL guys announced that their season was cancelled. Thanks to the dozens of emails nofitying me about this, Chris B. being the first. update: More email, this time people clarifying that PGL is not dead, just TEN. Blue in fact points out that Battle.net hosted the StarCraft tournament last season. No word on the new host for PGL just yet but they are looking.

#7: I was joking about Microsoft integrating The Zone into Windows, jeesh.
ten is to gaming as microsoft is to the software industry
TEN sucked anyway, good ridance. Sorry to say it, but the only online gaming place that will survive the integration of internet gaming into all games is Microsoft\'s Zone. Why? Because they\'re gonna integrate in into Windows. Mwahahahaha!
