rickmus, is the new project close to following:

Soldiers of Fortune

An online(w/offline support) multiplayer Counter-Strikish type game using the Q3 engine with the new terrain features, drivable vehicles, plus rewritten support for T&L support? I'd bet there's a whole lot more features I can't think of right now...

Raven already has experience with realistic environments, models, voice overs, etc, from SoF. Plus, anyone who watched the sales charts last year knows SoF sold very well, better than EF I'd guess. A sequel seems like a definite must assuming you have a fairly common contract with Activision. I'd bet you guys could blow away the competition(Global Ops, any others?).

Anyway, I think it would kick ass. I hope I'm right, or close...

Okay, what it's expected to be is SoF2 most likely. And it ain't that. So my guess is .. um .. well, firstly, if it ain't SoF2, then that might mean that SoF2 isn't for the Q3 engine anymore [!]. But as to what it is .. um .. maybe it's .. uh .. SoF for XBox! Yeah!
