Shacknews Logo Rules

Well a little late but here you go. Here are some revised rules for the Shacknews logo contest that is currently ongoing. Thanks to everyone who has sent in their stuff so far. The majority of the submissions have been great but here are some more specifics to be sure:

- Logo must scale to 220x90. Please include a scaled down version in email but keep a higher res version available. - Logo may not exceed 35k in size. - Logo may say "Shack" or "Shacknews" only. Please no added slogans or my name on it. - The more simple the better! Think of something that can still look good in 2 colors. - I'll repeat, the more simple the better. - Deadline has been extended to February 24th, 11:59pm due to popular request. - No need to attach the source or PSD file, if your logo is chosen I'll email you for it. - Here is a copy of the current rough draft from Dhab, it is preferred that you use this as a base for your work. - Email entries in .jpg or .gif formats to this address

Thanks again to everyone who has been participating. The turnout has been quite a bit larger than I expected. What I feel we'll probably end up doing is of course having a vote on the entries to narrow it down to the final 3 or 5 range and then we'll see which one works best incorporated into the design which may change a little bit in the near future.
