The newest editorial on 3DAP is the right way of playing Counter-Strike, in the humble opinion of the 3D Action Planet writer of course since everyone has his or her own way of playing the game that might be just fine for them.

  • . What else is the CT supposed to do? Run around and kill the Ts? That's deathmatch. As much as some people like deathmatching on CS maps, it's not CS. CS is objective-oriented; therefore, camping the bomb spots would be a CT objective

no, untill their are points awarded for doing an objective like when you capture a flag in CTF, the 'objectives' are to kill the other team 99% of the time and forget about the bomb or the hostages because its easier to win that way AND you get higher on the scoreboard

these guys have this image of what they want CS to be, not what it is. you think when clans play for money they are going to fuck around with hotages every round? hell no

  • one minute he talks about 'real life' and how imitating it is fine:

"If I was told that one of my lecture halls was going to be bombed by a guy wearing a white camo parka, and I was given a gun and ordered to stop him, I wouldn't go charging all over the campus looking for him, I'd sit down in the lecture hall and wait."

but then, next page into it:

"Best of all, there's only one entrance. It makes sense to set up camp there, and in real life, that's certainly what I'd do. But in the game, it's cheap."

    hypocrite.

but most of the article is neat.

personally, i agree CS is about objectives and teamwork, and not
DMing, but what do i know? i'm a faggot for using an awp.
