Red Faction Delayed

Action Vault is reporting that Volition's Red Faction has been delayed until late summer/early fall, giving it more time to polish which is always a good thing. The game was first scheduled for a Q1/Q2 2001 release. Thanks Voodoo Extreme.

Ok, they shop Red Faction all the hell over the place for a month. Then, they announce it's delayed. Official reason? PS2 shipment problems have depressed the PS2 software market, so they'll release the game later when that clears up.

Hmm, maybe. I'll betcha it also has a little something to do bugs ("polishing," ha ha).
