Sega Of America had EA beaten when it came to sheer incompetence but EA's mindboggling ability to fuck up anything that's not a sport's title is very, very impressive (how's that Q3 PS2 port coming boys? and you say TWINE should be out any time now?).

The problem with propretry consoles is you don't make any money from them unless you can sell lots of developer licences... making good games for your own machine is pretty fucking pointless (which is why the X-box is gonna do nothing but lose MS $$$)

sad to see sega leaving the hardware business- but they make damn good games, which was reason enough for me to buy the dc.

I think EA is pissed because before sega's entry, they were the best third party developer to have for the next-gen systems(im not counting square, cuz theyre in bed with sony)........now it looks like Sega has taken over that spot. now i think of it, the only good games EA makes are sports games.......and i believe that sega has them beat in that genre :)

altho i was personally hopin nintendo would buy sega......the x-box wouldnt have a chance

Once their games hit other platforms I hope Sega's stuff, especially their sports games, starts to really muscle in on EA's market share. That'd be too funny cuz IMO, overall EA products are decidedly average, with the possible exception of Madden, NFS, and some of the stuff they publish for other dev houses like Maxis and Bullfrog etc. They (EA) are like the Ford of games developers whereas the quality of Sega's games are consistently range from good to excellent...maybe like a Honda or Lexus or something ;)

Ridiculous, Sega has made some of the greatest console titles of all time.

Sonic Team owns... Yu Suzuki is the man...

EA's only claim to fame are sports and driving games.

As long as Sega puts Shenmue 2 and 3 SOMEWHERE, I'll buy them.

OH GOD.

EA = a bunch of pussies.

Don't know if you remember, but at launch of Dreamcast, EA openly said that Dreamcast COULD NOT survive without EA support. THEN, they turn around and start making games for the DC once they realized it was a viable platform. But, EA didn't start developing for the Dreamcast until late in the game.

fuck EA. the producer i know that works there is a total prick. i guess being an asshole is a job requirement out there. i'm not a supporter of sega, but i'll be sure to check out the sega's games over EA.
