There are definitely a lot of misconceptions about what the Mac can and can't do (not just among PC users, but Mac users as well... believe it or not). There are some great strengths there and there are still a lot of challenges. Gaming is doing pretty well on that platform, however, and those of you who maybe aren't as up-to-date on what's happening with the Macintosh and 3D might find it interesting to check out those videos (especially the NVIDIA one).

I, personally, think those two videos are interesting in the attitude and "corporate face" that each company shows the public, and that's definitely a cross-platform thing.

I didn't even know that NVidia cards worked on Macs. I thought that Apple had effectively banned everyone but ATI and 3dfx. I guess that since 3dfx is dead, they need a good player in the high-end market.
