Gameboy 3D Engines

According to developer Graphic State 3D games such as Quake 3, Counter-Strike and others can be converted to a handheld quite easily. Interesting development.

Although I've got to admit, I'd love to be able to deathmatch on a road trip, so maybe Doom level graphics are enough.
