- Those funny Clinton administration ex-staffers, taking off the W from keyboards to annoy Bush and his own staff. Childish.Lastly, Wired has an article about more of those stupid "reality tv" shows coming.
- Looks the Superbowl is going Matrix style. No you won't get the video stream plugged right into your head, however they are planning to do those cool 360 degree stop motion moves for replays. Thanks emitecaps.
- Verio is going up against The Man, as they refuse to remove a website despite the Motion Picture Association of America asking them to do so because the site in question has the infamous DVD-cracking code. Thanks klerck. - Hijacking, always stupid. However it's even more stupid if you don't speak English and your whole plan fails miserably because of it.

the problem is a select guys posting 20-30 times in the period of just a few minutes takes over an entire thread. that is not something that feels approachable to the outsider. i know it isnt to me or the few friends i have who read the page. judging from that message from steve we're not alone.
i'd recommend some programming changes to tag comments etc based on their relevance to others, but just asking people to slow it down in short term seems reasonable.
i know i generally stay away from these threads, and maybe you guys didnt notice but so do the majority of other posters. why do you think that is? probably a number of reasons but i'm betting since steve has hard stats to look at he's taking a stab at improving things.
the guy is watching the gaming websites crumble around him, i'm betting every decision that is made right now is trying to improve his numbers and save his own ass.

so you've got the case about the seven dirty words, which you can't say on the airwaves anymore. there's this radio station here in phoenix though that often plays songs uncensored, with some of those words included. i could understand it if the other stations censored them by choice, so they could appeal to a broader audience, but don't they get fined by the FCC for any violations of the "seven dirty words"?
