Duke goes UEd2

George Broussard made a forum post saying UnrealEd 2 is now the primary editor for Duke Forever, good news for the mod makers who have been working with the editor on UT. George had previously mentioned they wouldn't do more upgrades of this nature due to lack of time, but apparently programmer Brandon Reinhart found the time anyway.

engines don't mean shit. deus ex uses shitty engine. but i can live through the engine to get to the fun part of the game. if DNF is fun (and I really really really hope it will be) then the whole engine thing will be a moot point.

George, not to be nosy, but are you saying that the maps still aren't done for the game? What have you guys been doing for the last 3 YEARS!!!!!

There should never really have been a third quake game. Id certainly couldnt push the franchise any further, its getting as thing as it can without ripping. Id needs a fresh angle and approach, i'd love to see id make a non FPS game, but that would make carmack's engines somewhat redundant for one game cycle.
