Medal of Honor & Images

Something I overlooked yesterday that deserves quite a bit of attention is the preview for Medal of Honor (in development by 2015) that was linked yesterday featured a spankin new set of screenshots of the game that has been absolutely stunning people. In addition, one of the 2015 employees stopped by to make a clarification about the article which seems to have an error:

The GameSpot article states that 2015 handles the game's programming duties while the design and artwork is being produced at EALA (DreamWorks Interactive). I assure you, 2015 is the developer and is doing everything in this game. Level design, programming, design, art, all the development.

does anyone feel like pc games dont a amaze any more? I remember back in the quake days (before you attack im not an old q1 glory day lover) every 6 months there was a game that look fantastic and nothing like anything you had seen before. Nowadays the progress seems much more gradually probably thanks to Id's engines, everyones really restricted by them until they make their next installment. This game looks nice but it didnt blow my socks off, not the way q3 did when i first saw screens of that.

what im looking forward to in fps games, is when you feel like your actual body has a presence. In fps games i can never feel like im really there, simply cause u feel like a floating camera with arms. Id like to be able to look down and see my feet and arms (and even boobies if im a chick.) It would be so cool to see your arms reach out to door handels and so on when your opening them. I think it would add a whole new level of immersion.

Quake 3 Arena just released new code that allows for one player model per user.. that means no more model you see, that nobody else does. Q3F is already making use of this, I believe the model that you see (the gun in your hands) is the same gun that everybody else sees, it's a very trespasser-ish thing... not saying it's copying however, because I likem' boobies nice and round.

okay, maybe I was wrong..I am assuming the trees are a clever mix of few polygons and lots of sprites.
