Life could be fucked up some times. Trust me, I've been there. And this year has been one of those where too much happened as I became an adult and experienced things I never had. I went through depression and not caring for anything and just didn't see myself living. But I held through with my problems. Life is tough. But trust me, it gets better. Just hold on. Life is precious. I'm looking at life at a different angle now, and I see that life is just too much to loose. Think about your family, your loved ones, and yourself. Do you really want to end this?

Damn. That really is horrible. Especially for this time of the year.

Last year a friend of mine did the same thing.

I owe a lot to n0th1ng... he was a big influence on how I mapped. "I want to do a map much like cs_siege - not its design, but the affect it had on people." Now, I work for a game developer as their level designer. I don't owe all of this to him - but a small piece of it is his.

Please forgive my cynical turn of thought, but I'm rather tired of everyone getting all up in a hoopla over the online announcement of someone having killed themselves. What I usually do when I read such a thing (there's a sad commentary right there, implying that it happens all too often) is search online news sites for a corroborating source. Do I hope to find such a source and discover that the sad news is true? Of course not. Has an online suicide announcement that I've seen made by friends or family yet turned out to be true? Nope.

So... until such corroborating evidence is presented, I shall remain most skeptical and retain my dim view of both those purporting to be conveying the "bad news" and those who automatically accept said news as the gospel truth since, after all, "it must be true - no one would joke or lie about that!"

I have never cared to have my emotions toyed with - I deeply resent it when it happens - consider my skepticism and cynicism the bulwarks I present to the world to prevent such stupidity against my person (and yes, it feels quite personal when someone tries to fuck with people and say "oh he's dead - killed himself, isn't that awful?.... Psych! Not really! Made you look!"

If it happened... it's a shame. A damned shame and I hope no one decides to follow in his footsteps because they won't (that's right, WON'T) get help or allow themselves to be helped so that they are not a danger to themselves or others.

Until some corroboration is presented, however... it's just another bull$hit internet story making the rounds... "didya hear? dude killed himself! woah..."

i would like to take the time to express my view on so-called afterlives and god. do not listen to what the religious fanatics say about suicides going to hell. my depest condolences to the family.

unfortunately, religion is disappointing.

why? because you have to rely on faith.

faith is not worth living by for multiple reasons.

what kind of parent are you when you leave a set of rules to follow at the birth of your child -- yet you do nothing to enforce them? what -- hell is your punishment for not following the rules? how can you be afraid of hell if you never see it until its too late? its because it isnt there.

i like having parents... they are real, they teach me things, they show love for me, and if they know i've done something wrong they will try to help me not to make the same mistake twice. its because they care. they will try to answer any questions i have -- or help me to find the answer.

god? if he does exist, he must not care. i would hope he understands why i dont believe in him, and we could discuss it when we have the opportunity to meet -- but being the piece of shit that he is, he automatically has no interest in me for not believing him and will send me off to hell.

fuck that.

i see no difference between god and a drunk abusive parent. they never cared about you -- and they will never care unless you kiss their ass and do what they say -- even if it is bending your ass over to let daddy sink it in for his own pleasure and not yours.

so already i see consistencies between god and humanity. humans make mistakes. so does god. apparently god hasnt learned from his mistakes, because if he did he would show proof and everyone would kiss his ass.

the way i see it, god wasnt born in his position -- he had to earn it some how.

his 2000 years of being in office are over. it is now my job to take his place and fix what he has failed to do for humanity: show proof.

so please fellow shackers, trolls and the rest of the world -- elect me to be our new god for the next two millenium. i promise i will make heaven a better place, and hell a worse place for the naughty people. i will teach you what it takes to be like me -- the closest being to being perfect -- and i will do everything in my power to show you glimpses of heaven and hell so that you know what you are getting in to. i promise you wont need to go to any churches and give them your money, and you wont have to brainwash your family and friends to believe in me. just leave all the dirty work up to me, and you can all just live your lives how you want and worry about life instead of the afterlife...

I doubt there is even such a thing as hell or heaven :) To be perfectly honest with you all. Once you guys are dead, you're truely dead and you go nowhere but become worm food :) If heaven and hell existed than all of us would have one religion, other than these multiple religions we have. The best is the one where a UFO would take you to heaven located behind a comet :) I guess Science is my thing and not becoming a programmed zombie following a 2000 year old text.

This is sad. I really like both of those maps. But hey, maybe he found the one solution to his problems and he is happy now. Who knows?

I've always thought that you go to hell when you commit suicide, that is, if there is a hell, but I'd hate to find out myself.

This must really suck for his family and friends but no matter what #1 thinks, suicide is not a solution. Go see "Pump up the volume" with Christian Slater for some interesting ideas on suicide.

I can't imagine what n0th1ngs family feels now, I just hope that they can pull through this and perhaps cherish life more afterwards.

These holidays can be hard on you but one have to try and push on through, there's always someone out there for you, willing to give you a helping hand if you need it.

I feel a great loss for a former clanmate who had contributed to the CS community with his unique style of maps. However, this "brother" gave the same news to us around 4 months ago. Now this just doesn't add up, someone does not die twice. Therefore someone is totally FUCKED up and is either screwing around with people now or back then. Death is not something to be taken lightly and joked about...

Although I was never a big fan of either map, I recognize the talent that was needed to make them. He will be missed.

Please ignore my previous post. Ive got everything in order now, once i talked to some few people. Dont worry, ive been more embarrased before, heh.
