The Internet is Shrinking!

Interesting article of the day for you guys to check out this LATimes bit talking about how the internet is kind of "shrinking" in a way. It seems as though the # of websites and viewers on the net is growing, the actual websites receiving the majority of traffic is shrinking.

It\'s cause everyone goes to some portal site first...that\'s the master plan. Until everyone gets high bandwidth, website visiting is just a pastime, yes, even though a ton of biz is now being done over the WWW. It pales in comparison to what will come.

It makes a lot of sense. I mean, I\'m on the net pretty much every day, and the only things I really check are school, blue\'s and the shack. Since I know what I want, I don\'t concern myself with going to other places.
