  • According to the specs ps/2 devices shouldn't be unplugged and plugged back in. *but* people will do anything you can imagine to their computers and it can be supported so this does actually work in most OS's now. Not supporting this isn't really a bug though since it's not in the specs.

    I've heard people saying it can damage your equipment but I've never heard of this actually happening so I'm sure it's just a myth. If it's not a myth then I'm sure it doesn't apply to any recent systems.

    What they actually mean is "partitions" not "drives" since I recently converted a 6GB partition on a 60GB drive just fine, but I was planning on converting a couple of 25GB partitions, good thing I read this, guess I'll wait until sp2 comes out.
