Tomb Raider fans will be happy to hear that a recent print issue of Variety tips that the producers of the film adaptation of the video game are now targeting a Fall 2000 release date. Actresses along the lines of Heather Graham, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Hurley are being courted for the lead character Lara Croft, according to the trade...And here's the plot, which I'm sure is the only reason why we'd go see it:
...Lara Croft pursues the Achilles Shield in Antarctica and Asia in an effort to thwart a super villain's attempt to gain world domination by harnassing the artifact's powers...
