Voodoo Extreme has a Voodoo5 6000 preview complete with benchmarks and all. Of course, this card will probably never make it to retail but you can see what we are missing (or not).

    If you read the comments section:

    3dfx produced an intial set of reference drivers and, after a certain point, knew the V5-6000 was not going to be released for gamers. It
    wouldn't make any sense for them to keep tweaking those drivers for Q3A when nobody realistically would ever even use a V5-6000
    for that purpose. It was simply a business decision. I felt lucky that Q3A ran at all on this system considering that it's not a target
    application. You should see how fast their target applications run (the flight databases and models). The driver has been tweaked for
    those and the true horsepower of the V5-6000 really shines when using those apps.
