With the Pokemon North American Championships concluded, there's one major event remaining in the 2018 competitive Pokemon season. That's the Pokemon World Championships in Nashville, TN. While the best Pokemon players in the world will converge to battle, there's plenty for spectators to see at the event, as well. And on Monday, The Pokemon Company revealed a special event-exclusive Pokemon for anyone in attendance.

According to Serebii.net, anyone near the vicinity of the Pokemon World Championships will receive a special Level 50 Meloetta. The distribution will take place outside the main site, so an entry badge is not required. Long-time Pokemon players will remember Meloetta from Pokemon Black & White, which comes in two different forms. Her Aria form is a Normal/Psychic type, while her Pirouette form is a Normal/Fighting type. This Meloetta will come with the moves Celebrate, Round, Sing, and Relic Song. Relic Song will shift Meloetta to her Pirouette form.

Need a refresher on what Meloetta can do? Let's look at the Pokemon anime for a quick refresher.

This special Meloetta is the first mythical Pokemon distributed at a major competitive event and will be usable across Pokemon Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon, Sun, and Moon. For more information, visit the Pokemon website. The Pokemon World Championships will run from August 24-26.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
