Explore Kamurocho and Sotenbori in Yakuza Kiwami 2's Expansive PS4 Demo Today

Take up the role of Kazuma Kiryu once more.

Looking to try out Yakuza Kiwami 2 before it releases later this year? Of course you are, because Kazuma Kiryu is one of the greatest characters to have ever graced the PlayStation 4. Good news, to that end. Yakuza Kiwami 2's demo is available as of today on PlayStation 4, so you can get your Kiryu on sooner rather than later. This time, it looks like it's just the free trial, so Sega didn't accidentally put the entirety of the game up on the PlayStation Store this time -- oops!

The free trial will let you sample what the game has to offer, and join Kiryu and company through the city of Kamurocho and Sotenbori. This is Yakuza 2, remember, remade with enhanced graphics and a slick new presentation. Unfortunately, this demo won't let you carry over any of your progress made to the full game if you decide to pick it up when it's out in August, so consider this demo a short sampler and appetizer before the main course.
